Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
This policy explains what information MoneyPress ("we," "us") collects when you visit this site or purchase MoneyPress, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Information you provide directly: name, email, and payment details when you purchase. Payment details are handled by our payment provider, PayPal, and we never store card numbers.
- Automatically collected information: pages visited, referring URL, device/browser type, and ad-campaign identifiers (UTM parameters) passed through when you arrive from an ad.
- Pixel/analytics data: this site uses advertising pixels from the platforms we advertise on (Google, X, Reddit, and Meta) to measure ad performance. Each platform's own privacy policy covers how it handles data on its end.
How we use it
- To deliver the product you purchased and provide support.
- To measure which ads and pages are working, so we can spend ad budget more efficiently.
- To communicate with you about your purchase (and, if you opt in separately, our newsletter).
Your license and the desk
- When you purchase, PayPal sends us the email address on your PayPal account and the subscription reference for your membership. We store both with your license and use them to deliver your sign-in key, keep your desk open while the subscription is paying, and provide support. Your card and billing details stay with PayPal under its own policy; we never see them. If you choose to link a different sign-in email to your membership (optional, for signing in from any device), we store that verified email and use it for sign-in links only.
- The free trial closed on 8 August 2026 and no new trial emails are collected. Where you signed up before then, we still hold the email address you verified, the trial license key derived from it, and its run counter — used to keep an already-activated trial working, and, if you opted in at signup, for product updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your email at any time.
- The desk (your in-browser workspace) processes your task text and returns the result. We do not log or review your research tasks or their outputs, and we never use them for anything except serving you. Tasks are processed by our AI provider (Moonshot AI) under its API data terms.
- For members, the desk saves your working sessions (the conversations listed in the sidebar) to your account on our infrastructure (Cloudflare), so your work survives browser wipes and follows you across devices. It also keeps a coverage record per drafted article (company, title, rating, date, and the article's text, plus the published text of any piece you attach yourself), which the desk uses to keep your future coverage consistent with what you already published. You can view, replace, or remove any of it under Account → Published record. Your Voice panel (edit notes, writing sample, and voice anchors) saves to your account the same way, so the desk drafts in your voice from any device you sign in on; clearing the panel's fields and saving deletes our copy. Deleting a session in the sidebar deletes our copy too, and you can ask us to erase everything tied to your license at any time.
- Trial sessions are different: they stay in your browser's local storage only and are never saved on our servers. Copy finished work out before clearing your browser data.
- To ground its research in current documents, the desk fetches public sources itself while it works: filings and filed figures from the SEC's public EDGAR system, earnings-call transcripts from our transcript provider (Financial Modeling Prep), and, when enabled, web searches and page reads via our search provider (Tavily). Those requests contain the company name or ticker and the document being fetched, never your identity or your notes.
- Copies of the public documents the desk fetched for a session are kept on our infrastructure as that session's research dossier, so the desk does not refetch what it already read. The dossier holds public documents only, never your own text, and expires automatically (within 90 days of the session's last activity). Asking us to erase everything tied to your license covers it.
- The desk carries no advertising pixel. (The order-confirmation page reports the purchase event to our ad platforms for ad measurement, as described above.)
- For ad measurement, our server also reports purchase and trial-signup events to Meta (the Conversions API). The only identifier included is your email in hashed (one-way scrambled) form — never the readable address, and never your card or billing details.
Sharing
We share information with service providers who need it to operate the business: our payment provider (PayPal), our email delivery provider (Resend), and the advertising platforms named above (for ad measurement via their pixels). We do not sell your personal information.
